Cadence software in action at the University of New Brunswick
Undergraduate and Graduate Courses
The Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at the UNB has been significantly enhanced at both the graduate and undergraduate levels through the incorporation of advanced software tools. These include analog and digital simulation tools and design tools from Cadence. This page highlights only the courses using tools from Cadence Design Systems Inc.
The Cadence Silicon-Package-Board (SPB) bundle is used in the following courses:
ECE 3122 Electronics II
Use of transistors, op-amps, and other building blocks in linear circuit applications.
ECE 4040 Electrical and Computer Engineering Design Project
The capstone design course for undergraduate Electrical and Computer Engineering students.
ECE 4133 Instrumentation Design
An elective course. Considers the design of general-purpose data acquisition systems.
