As the 2004/2005 school year begins, your appointed executive is busy planning many exciting events. Check this page regularly for an updated calendar listing of events in which you can participate!

UPCOMING EVENTS

AEEGS Elections

On Wednesday, Sept 8, the Association of Electrical Engineering Graduate Students (AEEGS) will elect its executive for the upcoming year. If you are an electrical engineering
graduate student, you are automatically a member and can vote or run for a position.

All positions on the AEEGS executive are available including:

President
Vice President
Treasurer
Secretary
Sports Representative
GSA Representatives
Webmaster

Anyone interested in any of these positions should contact Andrew Marble
(andrew.marble@unb.ca) and declare their intentions to run.

Please consider getting involved this year.

PAST AEEGS EVENTS

AEEGS Pizza Lunches

Throughout the 2003 / 2004 academic year, AEEGS hosted a series of Pizza Lunches at the Alden Nowlan House Bar. These events were open to AEEGS members,

along with ECE faculty members.

AEEGS End of Term Party

The End of Term Party was held at the Twenty/20 Club, 403 Regent St, on Thursday April 10 at 7:30 pm.

AEEGS Movie Night

An AEEGS Movie Night was held April 11th.

AEEGS Sports

Each week during the fall and winter terms the Lady Beaverbrook Gym (lower gym) was booked for AEEGS members.

AEEGS Field Trip

The Executive organized a field trip over the March Break. 22 AEEGS members went to the NB Power Mactaquac Dam Generating Station on March 5.

AEEGS Movie Night and Skiing

A Movie Night was held Wednesday February 19th. Also Skiiing at Crabbe Mountain was held Saturday March 8.

AEEGS Pool Night

AEEGS Pool night was held Thursday, February 6th at the Twenty/20 Club.

AEEGS End of Term Party

The End of Term Party was held at the Cellar Pub (SUB basement) on Thursday, December 5 at 6 pm. More than 30 people attended.

AEEGS Bowling

We had a Bowling Party at Kingswood on Friday, October 18th. AEEGS paid for 3 strings of bowling! Pictures can be found on the AEEGS bulletin board. About 30 people were present.

AEEGS Movie Nights

The first Movie Night was on Thursday, October 10, 2002. About 30 people attended.

AEEGS Executive Meetings
