The Fredericton Branch of The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of New Brunswick (APEGNB) invites you to what is expected to be a very interesting lecture on forensic anthropology next Thursday by Prof. Moira McLaughlin "the bones lady".

BIOGRAPHY:
Prof. Moira McLaughlin is a Professor of Anthropology at St. Thomas University. She graduated from the University of Toronto in Physical Anthropology, specializing in osteology and archaeology. She was first introduced to forensic anthropology at the University of Tennessee where she did her graduate studies with Dr. William Bass, creator of the "Body Farm", a facility where experimentation is done on decomposition. She has been doing forensic anthropology work in the Maritime Provinces since 1984, beginning with the "Garbage Bag Murders" in the Saint John area. She continues to work with the RCMP and municipal police forces.
