Richard Tervo

Richard Tervo has a B.Sc. (Physics) and M.Sc. (Experimental Nuclear Physics) from McMaster University and a Ph.D. (EE) from Université Laval. He joined the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering in 1986.

Dr. Tervo has served as departmental Director of Graduate Studies (2002-2006), and as Undergraduate Coordinator (1994-1999) for the Electrical Engineering program. He currently serves as Assistant Dean (Academic) for the Faculty of Engineering.

Dr. Tervo is a registered Professional Engineer in the Province of New Brunswick (APEGNB), a member of the American Society of Engineering Education (ASEE) and a Senior Member of the IEEE. He has also served on the executive of the IEEE New Brunswick Section (Region 7) for many years.

Research Interests:
Digital signal processing, communications systems, radio and land-based communication protocols.
