A Double Rainbow
A double rainbow was seen between Haines Junction and Whitehorse,
looking east at 5 p.m. The rainbow went from the ground on the right,
over the highway, to the ground on the left. It appeared as though
we were going to drive through a rainbow tunnel. The second rainbow
only went up some of the right side. The colours of the second rainbow
are reversed. The rainbow is also a good demonstration of how the
colours get distorted by the processes of photographing and
digitizing. (Ektachrome, August 1993)
